Welcome to Orwell FC Reserves
Welcome to the newly formed website of Orwell FC. Orwell FC has been established since 1990 with over 30 club members and currently has a 1st team and reserve's team. The 1st team are in Division One of the Ipswich and District Licence Trade League and the reserve’s are in the 2nd division of the same set of leagues. Last year the 1st team maintained their 1st division stats while the reserve team had a poor season after being promoted to the 2nd division last year.
The Vets team (over 35's)has departed from Orwell FC. They will now play under the name of Bar 129. The Vets team will be a separate team but players are still welcome to play for both clubs. We would like to take this opportunity to thanks the Vets team for their servics to the club.
The club is currently sponsored by The Grosvenor Pub in Felixstowe. The Grosvenor has provided the first team with a brand new kit and 2 new match balls. The team attends the pub after every game on a Sunday and The Grosvenor lays-on a small selection of food such as pizza, chips and burgers. The club also attends team events at the pub, information on these events can be found on the “events page”. We would like to thank The Grosvenor for sponsoring the club and hope that will enjoy a long partnership with them.
