Orwell were away to what looked to be a tough fixture with HSF. The spirits were high with the boys sitting top of the league having won all four of their games. Hollands remained in goal for the injured Turner and Forsdyke made a return to take his place on the Orwell bench.

With the pitch in perfect condition, much better than playing surface at Elmsett a few weeks ago - the boys from Felixstowe were looking forward to playing their passing style of football. The game started with HSF having most of the possession and putting pressure on the Orwell back four. As time went on, Orwell gained more possession and started to pile on the HSF backline. 31 minutes into the game and Orwell took the lead. Simpson whipped in a pinpoint cross to Jacobs who smashed a fantastic volley into the bottom corner of the net. HSF started to push on after the goal and piled the pressure on Orwell with Hollands dealing well with crosses and Lewis commanding the back line, half time came at a relief as Orwell managed to keep hold of their one goal advantage. Half-time 0-1

The second half began with both teams having a fair-share of the ball, both teams having many half-chances. Forsdyke had come on for the injured Stelfox at the back. An hour had gone and Orwell had thought they'd doubled their lead. After HSf had cleared the ball from a corner, the ball was scooped back in to Rich who smashed the ball onto the bar and in - unfortunately the goal was denied for offside. HSF started to pile forward and had chances to get back into the game. Jones forcing Hollands into a fine save from a header and the HSF front two putting good chances wide of the goal. On a rare-counter attack, Clapp had released Jacobs who attempted to chip the keeper, who pulled a brilliant save to tip over the bar. Orwell were starting to show fatigue and HSF kept the pressure. The final whistle had come to the relief of Orwell and the points were in the bag. A hard-fought win against a very well-organised HSF team. Full-time 0-1

Five out of five wins and Orwell keep their place at the top. Next week the boys are at home to Whitton Kings Head.
